This desk arrived yesterday to my home and I immediately had to put it together. First things first-this thing is a beast. The corner desk comes in 1 box and it weighed 104 lbs. according to the label. Just be aware of this if you don't have someone to help you move it once it gets dropped off.
Anyway, it took me about 2 hours or so to put this behemoth together. Very easy assembly, all you really need is a couple screwdrivers and a small hammer. This desk is rock solid and doesn't wobble or feel flimsy at all, and has a surprising amount of space on top for being just a corner piece.
I also ordered the return portion of this series to increase my desk space. ADVICE: don't complete the assembly of the corner desk until you put together the return! I made this mistake and the first 3 steps in the return's manual involve taking apart pieces of the corner desk I had JUST finished assembling. I felt pretty dumb since I should have known they would connect somehow, but it was late and my mind was not in critical thinking mode at that point.
All in all I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend this desk to anyone looking for a new home office piece. Another piece of advice: check online for sale prices before going into the store to look at it. I knew coming in that the corner and return pieces were $50 cheaper online and they honored the price match since I had done my research. Never pay full price if you don't have to!!

Purchased the corner piece and the lateral file and upright file to make a great sized L-shaped desk for my home office. The only problem I have is that I keep hitting my knees on the sides of the opening when getting in or out. Might have been nice to have a wider opening. Otherwise, I love the look and the size of the desk. The instructions for installation were easy to follow. The desk is very sturdy and will last for a long time.

Well worth the few $$ extra over other assemble-yourself brands. A sturdy product, and it looks nice in my home office. A word to those buying a return to add to desk: Read all the instructions of all pieces first. We assembled desk and hutch to find that to add return we had to remove top of desk to switch one of the desk pieces to the return. A notice of this in the booklet would be nice. Otherwise, an excellent product.

It took awhile to be delivered but once it was, I couldn't have been more pleased. Overall I give this a 5 out of 5. There was a little bitty nick in the corner but not bad enough that made me want to exchange it.
